Installation of our central mixer in a digester:
Our Z-MIX was successfully mounted in an enamelled tank at a biogas plant in Taiwan (diameter 63 ft, height 61 ft).
Particular requirements arose due to the substrate, which has a dry matter content of up to 8% and consists of cattle slurry and elephant grass; due to its fibrous and abrasive properties, this substrate is highly prone to the formation of a floating layer.
The customer’s priorities were reliable homogenization despite floating fibrous material, as well as reduced wear on the components of the agitator.
By using our slowly rotating central mixer made from high-quality stainless steel (SS304/ SS316), the customer receives a durable mixer with which we can ensure stable homogenization and, reliable plant operation.
