Our long axis agitator has been successfully installed in a percolation tank at a biogas plant, with a support for the air-supported roof located in the center.
The SUMA agitator is characterized by its high adjustability: vertically up to +/- 30° and horizontally up to +/- 25°.
Once completed, the biogas plant will process around 4,244 US t of solid manure and 1047 US t of green waste annually. This produces around 109,600,000 US gal lqd of biogas, which is converted into electricity and heat in a combined heat and power plant (CHP). A 8,454 US gal lqd heat storage tank ensures that the energy generated is available as needed.
The digestate is reused as valuable fertilizer in farming – an example of successful recycling and sustainable use of resources.
